The Trent house..the name-sake of the city of trenton...although the trents left the state by the 1800's the nane stuck...
William Trent was a Wealthy shipping merchant..he built the house in 1719 ands it is the oldest house in mercer county

williams trents room..he died in this room..yet to this day his grave has yet to be found..he was buried somewhere on his 1600 arce property..which is likely built over by now
to the 3rd floor which i was not allowed...but i caught man with an accent her saying caroline

what is unqiue about this house is the kitchen is in the basement
there is also a tunnel that leads to the carriage house the cariage house is suppose to be more haunted then the main house
the house passed hands though the 19th cenutry then the stokes family owned it and built additions on it
how it looked when the stokes family owned it...they donated it to the city of trenton by the 1930's but the city told them to remove the additions and restore it to the orginal colonial look
its a 5$ tour and takes about 1 hr for anyone who wants to go
