Weird NJ has received communications in the past from a U.S. based group that wants the magazine to cease publishing folklore that feature people with alibinism in them, as if our readers cannot differentiate between real people who live regular lives who also happen to lack pigment, and stories that are obviously exaggerations. I keep meaning to post this but forget to: it's National Geographic's take on that skull they found in Italy that has a brick shoved in its mouth. Because people thought the poor woman whose skull it was had magickal vampyre powers and caused the plague that killed her mass grave-mates. I hope they did this to her post-mortem.
